This is a great opportunity to own property in beautiful scenic Florida. The nearby subdivision of Indian Estates borders the Northeast Edge of River Ranch Acres.

Polk County is growing every day, becoming one of the most attractive places in Central Florida. Vero Beach is 55 miles to the East on the Atlantic Ocean, Tampa-St.Petersburg is 80 miles to the West on the Gulf of Mexico. Orlando/Disney is 50 miles North and Lake Wales (BOK Tower) is 20 miles away. The County Seat of Bartow is 30 miles to the Northwest.

We have been told that a local private corporation has formed an association for members/owners of land in the subdivision. This club has promulgated rules to restrict outside access and regulate use of the lands for hunting, atv riding, camping, hiking, etc. The property is zoned agricultural and Polk County allows “recreational structures” to be built. These range from basic tents to very nice “A” frames, where some folks live year round. I have never been to the property so you need to do you own due diligence as to these matters. Water is from wells. Power is from generators, solar cells or wind generators. Commercial power is available only near the public highways. This property is approximately 5 to 6 miles from the main highway. The majority of the land outside of the subdivision is used either for pastoral land, tree farms or vast orange and grapefruit groves. There are several aquaculture facilities or fish farms nearby. There are no roads to the property.

Less than one mile from the Avon Park Wildlife Management area. Five miles from Kissimmee River. Six miles from Lake Kissimmee. Four miles from the River Ranch Resort. And approximately five miles from State Road 60.
